My finds after the rain storm

We just had a rain storm in Florida yesterday afternoon. While driving to the house, I decided to stop at a local park in the historic district and began searching. After many iffy signals. I picked up a strong dime to quarter single and dug up this name plate. Does anyone have any idea what it is?

I would venture to say that it is/was part of a control panel or dashboard., put a lever under it - push left for fresh air off, and right for fresh air on....

from long ago when vehicles didnt have AC as an option and the radio had knobs and push-buttons.

I would have to agree with day_sleeper_99, that looks to be an air vent cover. I still wouldn't give up on that park though, there should be some silver waiting there for you, so give it another shot!
