Hey T-Net Happy New Year and that means it is time to reflect on my favorite site of last year
Mountainbiking through about 1000 acres of woods i came upon a cellar hole
I was out there looking for cellars and an 1870 map lead me in the right direction
Me and my hunting partner had walked these woods a couple of times but never ventured quite far enough into the thickness of it
I feel it was deserted around 1880 or so.
Man i have never found such nice colonial buckles in my years
Especially womans buckles you never really find them
Got a pewter calendar coin..First i ever seen
Got 2 1798 DB largies..
A 1723 Woods Hibernia that an attempt Draped Bust largie counterfeit
My first half dime
An 1875 seated dime my most recent find on the site
6 regular largies in a 10x10 area
Someone suggested that the clothes were hung there..Makes sense
Not many Dandy buttons but lots of regular colonials
My favorite find was the complete shoe buckle
Best buckle ever
And my other favorite find was the Rhode Island Militia civil war 2-piece button
This area is huge and i have not even scratched what could be lying out there
Check it out and dont forget
KEEP THE PASSION HIGH......KIRKPA
