Hey T-Net Happy New Year and that means it is time to reflect on my favorite site of last year :thumbsup:

Mountainbiking through about 1000 acres of woods i came upon a cellar hole

I was out there looking for cellars and an 1870 map lead me in the right direction :icon_thumleft:

Me and my hunting partner had walked these woods a couple of times but never ventured quite far enough into the thickness of it :dontknow:

I feel it was deserted around 1880 or so.

Man i have never found such nice colonial buckles in my years :icon_sunny:

Especially womans buckles you never really find them :icon_scratch:

Got a pewter calendar coin..First i ever seen

Got 2 1798 DB largies..

A 1723 Woods Hibernia that an attempt Draped Bust largie counterfeit :laughing7:

My first half dime :icon_thumleft:

An 1875 seated dime my most recent find on the site :icon_thumleft:

6 regular largies in a 10x10 area

Someone suggested that the clothes were hung there..Makes sense :dontknow:

Not many Dandy buttons but lots of regular colonials

My favorite find was the complete shoe buckle :headbang:

Best buckle ever :thumbsup:

And my other favorite find was the Rhode Island Militia civil war 2-piece button

This area is huge and i have not even scratched what could be lying out there
