My Fathers "Cabin"

I've been reading and watching this forum for around a month now, participating to the best of my abilities and knowledge, However. I haven't posted any of my finds what so ever. This is mainly because I haven't been out to find anything. However recently I was home in WV on leave and did manage to find a few things before my Tesoro went crazy(it has a short).
Almost a year ago my Father purchased this log home built around 1845(possibly rebuilt in this location later) in hopes of restoring it and using it as a weekend home for our family....We've got a long road to go before that happens.
Well in the pictures below starting with the first being the "cabin" and the others some of my finds. The "screw driver" looking object I was told by my Grand Father is actually a valve stem tool for an old automobile. The "ring" looking object is anyones guess, a few of us figure its a "cup handle" possibly. I threw the only coin I found in the picture for size its a 1952 Rosie Dime. Anyways thanks for looking.

JD that place looks awesome. Am curious, do you have alot of acreage there too? I think you will have a field day hunting there... Keep up the great work and I too would like to say...Thank you for serving our Country..and I will remember you in my prayers as well..

stay safe and keep on digging..

Actually not much acreage was purchased with the house, only a little over an acre, which was all that was probably ever used as yard. The rest is pasture and field still belong to the family who has had it for several decades.
