Walked into my mother in law's sewing room and she's working on some new project of hers and has TONS of jewelry in bags sitting around. So I ask of course because curiosity killed the cat. She says she got it at an auction and it's "just a bunch of costume jewelry". I pick up a bag and one of the pieces peaked my interest so I dug it out. It was stamped "sterling". Picked another, "925". Picked another "12k". I asked her how much she paid and she never looked up and said "$50. I know too much but I really liked the gaudy pieces." I'm about half way through it all and have found A LOT of junk but about a half a quart bag of stamped silver and gold. The whole thing just gives me the lols. Who would have ever guessed
