All i know is that it's a sestertius of trajan
it's 26gr and very big
any info would be helpfull

I can see why they would loose a coin like that, coin sacs would ware out in no time. Congrats on finding such an old coin in such wonderful condition. Can you post a pic of it after your cleaning and preserving is done?

The Trajan is a RIC Vol II 504 Sears Vol II (2002) 3198 Sestertius at VF $350 with

Obv: IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PMTRP COS V PP
Rev: S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI S C – Pax stood left with Olive Branch and Cornucopia with right foot on shoulders of Dacian slave.

Nice looking coin, very nice looking coin, too nice a looking coin. I think it is a Paduan. (Venice, Italy). I have never seen a genuine Roman bronze with that edge, especially with raised initials. I am not dissing your find. The copies were made in the Middle Ages for wealthy collectors by master artisans. They were not affordable for the common man, but were custom made for the rich. I had three examples years and years ago, but unfortunately sold them. I got basically a day's pay for each of them. It is truly a nice find.

Dad stated an S C. (SC is nothing to do with the mint, I forget what latin meaning it is though)
If Dad says Rome, pretty sure it is.
