You might also consider posting this notice on the Sub-Forums: New York ...

Never done one before, but I do believe I would be willing to try.

Dunno-

Kinda depends on how much the entry fee is.

Is it a seeded location or what type of land?

What's his profit expectations, and will he still put it on if he doesn't get enough people signed up with paid entry fees?

Is the prize guaranteed in a bank, or do we just trust him?

Will there be a maximum number of entries?

What is the time limit for the hunt?

Who goes into the 'target' area first? What's the order of entry?

How can we possibly be assured that an unknown friend isn't the secret guaranteed winner, knows where the winning item is, and he get's the cash back?

Sounds great.
I too will drive from Ohio.
But, the variables are many. I posed a similar question once. The main consensus was logistics.
If you want TNeters to attend, reach out to your local "tri-state". Doubt folks from Ca. would be interested.
Work it out. I'm on the way...
Peace ✌

Put the plan together in detail. Introduce it and then ask how many will attend. If the number meets your expectations go with it. I would be intersested. I wenr to the recent hunt at Black Thorn resorts in the Catskills. It was well organized and lots of fun. Facilities and food provided was great. A lot of orginization is necessary for its sucess. I definitly wouldnt pay alot of money to do it.

Count me in.
