When you have a field that's producing that many hits :P it can be quite hard to winkle the Hammered out :-\ but a good Birthday hunt :icon_thumleft:

SS

It was full of wet coke too! Caught me out a few times >:(

SS, what is the thing next to the knife terminal with all the rust :icon_scratch:
Next to the square with the X on :icon_scratch: can't see it very clear, is it hexagonal :help:

SS

Hard to describe really :icon_scratch: Not hexagonal, but the shape of the front of a ship(looking down on it) :laughing7:

I think it's part of a knife :dontknow:

Looks a little Saxon like, I wonder if eletroloysis will help :-\ Maybe a scabbard mount, can't really tell from that picture :icon_scratch:

no, not unless it were cracked or poor quality

Nice Finds Shaun. Those coppers are sweet and that Carolus Royal Farthing looks to be in pretty good condition to. Those are some sweet looking lead seals as well. That

is a great way to spend a birthday, Congrats my friend :icon_thumleft:

Have a very happy birthday and not worry about not finding the hammered, because the most important .... is go out and spend a day with your best friend!

That's because the corosian was stoping you from making a clean contact, if it doesn't fiz, it's not making a connection :icon_thumleft:
