051709 BEST SWAG DAY SO FAR!!!
I found the Tungston ring within the first 2 minutes of heading to the water in dry sand.
after walking for a half hour or so I could see lots of holes in the wet sand and water and knew I was following other detectorists (later to find out 5) and only found a penny.
I was approached by two women and asked if I would look for their friend's Emerald ring that was lost like 2-3 weeks earlier. I knew my hopes of water hunting were slim and said sure.
I hunted in the area they had shown me for about 20 minutes when I found the sapphire and diamond ring by sight spotting in the sand..10kgold. Then I hunted methodically for another 3 hours for the girls when I said I should be heading back to my car and home.
On the walk back and within the next half hour...out popped the aquamarine and diamond ring...marked .925 on one side and RJ9 on the other. About a half hour after that out popped the gorgeous 1/4diamond ring...gold but inscription is in an oriental language....possibly Japanese.
Not less than 10-15 minutes later I found a silver ring.
I guess I was blessed today because rather than blow those girls off after 15-20 minutes of hunting for their lost Emerald ring...I stayed and gave it my all. PS I never did find their ring and neither did a friend of mine that went back to the beach to cover the ground I could not.
TODAYS TOTAL:::::
1sapphire+4diamond 10kgold ring
1oriental 1/4beautiful diamond gold ring
1aquamarine+4diamond silver ring
one tungston ring
1silver ring that says Love Life on the outside and Be Brave on the inside
oh yea and $5.00 in clad coinage and no pennies counted!
