My best recent finds with my new Excal II

I've been using my new Minelab Excalibur II now for about a month. I haven't had a ton of time to get it in the water, so I've been doing a lot of land hunting. These are some of my better finds so far. I found the 14k Gold wedding band and the 1903 Indian Head (my first) within 3 feet of each other at the park. The other item, which to me looks like a Copper Culture awl was found in a field on private property right next to the mouth of the Salmon River on Lake Ontario in Pulaski, NY. After reading the book Metallic Implements of the New York Indians, it appears that several Copper Culture items have been found in that area before. The Salmon River would have been a very popular fishing spot and trading harbor. It is solid copper, has a old patina and has been hammered, not cast. Its just over 5 inches long and weighs 2 oz.
