I haven't been metal detecting in a long time. I bought a new pin pointer the other day so I plan on digging out my metal detector "hoping it still works" from the cupboard. I kinda gave up when I was finding nothing but trash and toasted coins for months on end, although I did get a late Medieval crotal bell and it rings but is about all I've really had.

I then started digging Victorian dumps and finding huge amounts of stuff...

I'm hoping to find a decent area to detect in next time around.
