My best 'find' of all is the passion for 'finding'

Feeling very grateful to have found treasure.net (one of my greatest finds yet). My name is James, ever since an early age I have had a passion for the outdoors and exploring/finding things. While living in Ohio, I started a collection of my finds, consisting of bottles, jewelry, coins, arrow heads, and one clay pipe. I had a creek that ran right behind where I lived, so when I would fish the creek, I would also poke around seeing what was there. After doing that for some time, I developed "treasure fever." While living in in Eastport Maine, I found a few nice old dumps that produce 1800's era bottles and relics. I would be happy to share any of my knowledge with anyone interested. I live in southwest Michigan now, I have met a few people who "hunt" around here who have shared some inspiring success stories with me. I also picked up a gold-panning kit (at a newly opened Cabela's in Grandville MI), the gold here is scarce, but I am going to give it a shot anyways :tchest: Happy hunting!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Michigan for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

WELCOME! this is an AWESOME place to hang out an learn.....HH

Thank you everyone! :) I have learned more in the past week about my passion than I have in the past year. Similar to that of an alcoholics anonymous meeting?hahaha....but really though.
