(lucky start, or maybe you have great sites when its mostly the worst time of the year) Commonly referred to as: 'Arreton Down' axehead (after where it was first discovered in a grave) 1700BC-1500BC. Dad got our one similar to this 2 years ago. Normally a grave good Yeap, the 'mark II' of axeheads, only the 'flat axe' was earlier. Very hard to find metal much older in the UK
