My Best Day Metal Detecting Ever!!!

Did some research on google earth this morning and found a camp ground about 15 miles from my home town. Arrived at the park and noticed a monument with a sign and parked the car and read what it said. It said a wealthy family donated 25 acres to the city in 1925 for a recreational area to be made. Started detecting and right off the bat found a Silver Roosevelt Dime. Then I found a Mercury Dime. Then I found a 3 Silver Roosevelt Pocket Spill My was I stoked. Continued on and found somemore Roosevelt Dimes. Decided to try along the firver bank that runs parrallal to the campground. Boy was that trashy. So I started working along the bank and got a 50/1.00 reading on the At Pro at 8 inches with A VDI bouncing between 94 and 96. Dug down and found half of a old pepsi can. Put it in my pouch and continued on about two and a half feet away from the pepsi can I had a hit that read 50/1.00 at 10+ Inches and a VDI bouncing between 96 and 98. Said probuly the other half of the can. Dug down and to my surprise, something I thought I would never have found. Big Silver And I Mean Big. Totals for the day where 7 Silver dimes and 1 Silver Dollar. Good Luck And Happy Hunting All!!!!

It's not about whether you're greedy; it's whether you're being naively careless. It would not be surprising if there are 15 other guys digging holes in this place because you've proven that even with a Garrett you can find silver there. I know if I was closer, I'd be hitting every campgrounds donated in 1925 until I saw your plugs. Wouldn't take more than a day to find the "one" based on your previous posts.

It's just a bad idea to tell your hunting spots. I saw a guy do it around here (he found 6 halves) and all detecting was banned at that location in a week because of the number of detectorists he alerted.

BTW: I see guys out detecting once or twice a year, but there are 30 in the local club. You won't see them... If you saw 1, I bet there's 20.
