The funny thing is, I was having my wife take the picture and wanted to be sure she got the three of us in the photo, so I almost got down on my knee holding the ring next to the guy. That would have come out a bit on the fruity side I think.

You are right. It was less than 3" deep. It was close to the back deck steps, so it's fortunate that no paving was placed there over the years.

Thanks Randy. I get my generousity from my Dad & Mom. They always seemed to be helping others out as I was growing up.
I think I give away more finds now than I keep for myself.
