Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
2014 was a good year for my hunting buddy Todd and myself, we found some great sites and saved a ton of coins, buttons & relics.
Did very well in the copper dept with 69 ,dug some nice colonial shoe buckles and knee buckles(one solid silver frame)a 1840 William Harrison cabin campaign button, some rare counterfeit coppers even a counterfeit seated dollar. Dug some Rev War sling buckles & a beautiful 1600's brass kettle native American point.
I also dug my 11th George Washington inaugural button from 1789,got a new MXT All-Pro detector which I love.had some great group hunts with Todd,Dan,CT todd,Carol Rio,Todd brush, scott newman,Joey zorn,Gary Kilmer,Frank,Roger, Issac,Scott,Terry,Tim,my child hood buddies Joe & Dave and got to meet & hunt alongside Howard Hewitt from dig fella's,I'm in a movie that the guys in Dirt Fishin America made when they came out here from Idaho (Brandon,Eric & TJ) &
I made the White's Calender coming out in 2015.Got to return a Sterling Silver WWII bombers ID bracelet that I dug in 2007 back to the son of the man that wore this & fought so proudly for our country.
what more can ya ask for? ,saving history alongside great detectorists, that's what it's all about!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays,a Blessed New year as well.Be safe out there God Bless!

Another incredible year Dave! That artillery button is in great condition. Love the silver knee buckle, the copper point, and all the buttons and coppers. What is the coin or token with the XX on the back?

Very good year congrats

Outstanding job Dave!! You dug a ton of killer relics and coins. And that's not fair you've recovered 11 GW buttons. That's insane, as I've never even came close to sniffing one of those. Good luck in 2015.

Man what a year!, of all those finds its really hard to pick out what I like best, the shoe buckles, Hibernia, that WWII medal, man I don't know, theyre all great!, must have been a cool feeling to give that medal back, and also to hunt alongside all those guys in the DFA movie!, congrats on a spectacular year, best of luck in 2015!

Staggering group of finds !!! I'm stunned at the quality and variety - the bracelet return is my favorite - then I think the Three Trimes
is magic ! the GW and the DB's don't suck too badly either !!!

Your finds are always top notch bud! That silver buckle of a stunner and some amazing looking coins. But that GW is one I'm still on the hunt for. It recently moved up a couple notches on my lifetime finds list. Hopefully 2015 is the year....or have you found all of them lol

Fantastic year, hey i was wondering about the silver buckle is their any makers marks on it, it looks alot like my shoe buckle from Philidelpha, circa 1780s-1790s
{JNR} jopshe and Nathanial Ritchardson

Save some treasures for the rest of us to find lol :D
Great year!

A successful year, for sure! Congratulations.

Great finds thanks for sharing and congrats on the wonderful year. Also very nice post.

69 coppers and 11 GW buttons? You are officially banned from the state of Rhode Island and ordered to stay in Connecticut forever! LOL!

P.S. Amazing finds!

Dave, you had a GREAT 2014 with many super Colonial recoveries. The GW button up there is the holy grail. Congrats and the Trio wishes you another great year in 2015. HH, Q.
