Mxt pro 2D coil standard?

Not sure but you got a much better coil, I used to have a 12" coil the 300mm coil but got rid of it as you need really clean ground to get good use out of it and most of the coins come from lots of activity which means not very clean ground. I didn't find it very useful but if you was relic hunting and digging every signal even iron then it would be just fine, with the D2 coil you will pick out the good targets among the iron and other trash. HH

Pro had the 10"DD and the Mxt 300 had the 12" (300mm)

My MXT Pro came stock with the 12 inch super 12 coil (aka 300mm) My MXT All Pro came stock with the 10 inch DD. But also the MXT All Pro could be gotten with the 950 as the stock coil (with a reduced msrp price). :)

I like the 300mm on my DFX I would never get rid of it if you work with it enough you can tell what is what with it and you can't beat it in pastures and fields to cover more ground in the time you have it also has real good depth...

It would be fine for relic hunting where your digging even iron signals but it will miss targets if your over a lot of iron that the D2 will ferret out. HH

are there coils still available for mxt pro's?

You can use the same coils as the V3i uses on the MXT as well as the VX3, M6, and the DFX. HH

You want that DD 10" for all around detecting.

$350 , you got a steal on a Legendary Relic Machine. Do not second guess it.
