Mustangs are NOT 4x4s

Re: Mustangs are NOT 4x4's

Hey Peg, Don't feel bad, the only ones who find it comical are those of who have been there wish we hadn't done that! (some of us more than once ::)

Re: Mustangs are NOT 4x4's

so, you have only been stuck once?
we have a saying down here...

'if you didn't get stuck, you weren't having fun.' ;D

Re: Mustangs are NOT 4x4's

hey gang,
BELIEVE me I was soooooooooo embarassed the whole time. But afterwards, while having a beer I nearly cried with laughter. And yes the first thing I said is the gang at Tnet will LOVE this.....

Re: Mustangs are NOT 4x4's

I just found your fun trip, PLL...

Yah, Mustang is pretty nose heavy for sandy passings.

I've probably spent more time in the desert in 2wd than in proper 4x4's...

Weight transfer is important, can't be overloaded, gotta let most the air out in advance,
and you can only let your foot up off the metal at the most advantageous spots!

Always carry your own tow rope, and when you DO get stuck...

Make sure you do it directly in the middle of the pathway so no one can get by in either direction!

You get to meet new grumpy people that way, but they all warm up because they've all done it themselves.

Don't ever spin your wheels and bury it to the frame and worse.
Nobody will help you dig out.
