Well got my hands on a bigger boat to do my sidescan work.. Old one was a 1957 Grumman with a 35hp engine..New one is a 1986 With a 75 HP Engine..Got her for the price of $800 I am very excited as it gives me alittle room to put on my scuba gear and I didnt have any room in the old one. But it did run great and served its time.

Congratulations!!!! May I offer a suggestion. You might want to consider making or purchasing a prop guard. This is always a good safety measure if you are diving from the boat and just as important if you are towing a mag. In the case of having to suddenly shut the motor down, the mag cable will bunch up at the stern and a prop blade can quickly do all kinds of things (none of them good) very quickly. Just a suggestion from experience.

Thanks alot for the info and I will definitly do so. Dont want any nasty things happening. Thanks much.

Sounds like it and I will sure take the advice and get the guard. Thanks deepsix. Thats funny the place I took my Scuba Cert. Was Deep-Six

How's the weather been up your way? Its been miserable here. Lots of rain and now wind! I was hoping to get offshore this weekend but I am pretty sure its a no go. Maybe do some river diving.

The boat looks great and what a great deal!

Robert

Weather here is on and off. Has been ok though last few days and the water has been pretty constant at 58 Degrees. Going out in the morning.
