... do you think that mule got away from someone’s pack string? It looks clipped and trimmed just needs a little brushing. I’ve heard several stories about hunters and packers loosing animals and than seeing them on and off for awhile.
This is one of quite a few on the ranchers property. The owner is a packer and his animals are well cared for.

Ron, that camera trap is just superb..:occasion14:

Lovin' the big cats..ever see any bobcat?
Thanks Mike!... This is the only bobcat I've gotten. This was taken when I first got into camera trapping around the first part of this year and I haven't seen any sign of one since.

That's a gorgeous cat...looks like a female in prime condition. :occasion14:

Those off-camera flashes make a huge difference...do you use a motion sensor
that activates everything, or do you just leave the flash units turned on?
I know on my D-90 that, after being on and inactive for certain period of
time it will shut itself off.

Thanks Dizzy, I have had some issues that have kept me away from the forum for a while so please forgive the late response. I use two kinds of motion sensors. One is a beam break type called the Cogniseys scout. https://cognisys-inc.com/scout-standard.html the other is a Camtraptions PIR sensor. https://store.camtraptions.com/coll...less-pir-motion-sensor?variant=15385707872339.
I use camtraption wireless switches and Nikon SB 28 flash guns because the have a standby mode where they can be on standby for days and then wake up and fire immediately when motion is detected. They are old and available on ebay. My Canons all have sleep modes as well. I have them set to sleep at 30 seconds of on time.
