Did a Bikepacking trip (camping off the Motorcycle) up in the Big Sur area this last weekend.
What an amazing place to explore by Motorcycle...
Anyway, this time I decided to pack my X705 for a little down time at camp.

Not sure how old the campground was, but I ended up with a nice lil Wheatie for my 1/2 hr of hunting.
Then the beer got the best of me :occasion14:

Hope you had a great time. I like to do that on a new Triumph T100.

Almost too good and had trouble pointing the bike back home :laughing7:
I will be doing this a lot more - even day trips to some remote areas that I need to MD.

I picked up a Minelab Go-Find 40 just to pack on my motorcycle.

What kind of cycle do you have?
I’m selling my Triumph Thruxton 1200 to get into a scrambler or adventure bike.

Looking forward to motocamping on my Vstrom this year. Happy Hunting

That's not a bad idea. I may keep my eyes open for one..
I can get my X705 + simple digging gear, pretty compact for the bike.
But for a quick swing here or there, a go-find would be so simple.

Right now that's what I'm riding - a Wee-strom - perfect step into adventure bike for cheap.
But I will be upgrading soon as the little Wee cannot take the off-road abuse we throw at it.

I have a few areas in the boonies that will make the little Strom the perfect vehicle.
And if a spot is hot, I'll bring the camping gear and spend the night.
SOOO fun camping off the bike,

Cheers and good hunting to all.
