Mother's Day treasure - Special "thanks"
I wanted to show you all what a great hunting partner I have here in NC. Not only is Ridley a master at finding jewelry, he is also a gifted craftsman.
Some of you may remember the old decorative metal wood stove door I found months ago at the farm site. Ever since I found that piece my Mom has admired it, and said it would look great as wall decoration. Every time she came by my house she would look at that piece.
Well, I told Ridley about it, and he graciously offered to build me a shadow box for the piece. I came up with the corny Mother's Day engraved plaque, and Ridley did all the rest. Even the back of the box is professionally done like you would see at a picture framing store. I'm sure you'll agree, Mr. Ridley is one great guy.
Now I'm afraid Mom may kick me to the curb, and adopt Ridley as her son.
