Motherlode Miners Bash 2015

Kinda seems like a contradiction doesn't it? Noooooo, you can't poop in the woods girly, use our state of the art, chemical filled room (that is entirely too small) that would take an army of government specialists to clean up if it tips, toilet! I think I'll do a scientific study (or get some grade school kid to do a science fair project on how just inhaling port a potty fumes while in one

Reed, what's DFW? I'm ignorant.

I thought it was at a campground? Or are we staying on someone's claim?

I haven't been there either. I've heard a campground mentioned, which should have toilets but he did say that a portapotty was needed along with hearing the words claims and private property, which is at the river where the toilets will be needed anyway especially for those giggly girls :evil6:
dfw... lol was the department of fish and shame after what they did in 2009. So they changed their name to kill the new translation of thier dfg to dfw like we couldn't improve on that. The whole thing is dumb friggin worthless... And they are doing friggin what? I mean it's the DFW or I prefer Dianne Feinstein's Wannabee's :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6: :evil6:

WHAT A HOWL, Reed can i post that on my facebook?

original plan campground. Yes it has toilets....but, it has rules like no dogs, quiet by 9 that's cuts some people out and goldenmojo may be playing some music . I have a few connections. If we can camp and dig in the same place it would be ideal so that is what we are working on. The only claim mentioned is mine and my partners. If this winter/summer weather keeps up we won't have water so we wouldn't hit the claim. Plus there is no way I'm bringing more than ten people there.
First time I have ever heard that "ALL" claims require a porta potty Reed could you please post a link to such requirement. I know of a lot of active claims I have been on dozens in the last twenty years and I have never seen one except at commercial sites.

It's a written dfw requirement. The paperwork that I have has names of other claim owners so I don't want to post it here but it's the standard dfw human waste requirements for your claims in national forests. I will send a copy to you if you want to see it in writing.

Ahhhh forest service regulation. Our claimis not in national forest. I'll prospect in the forest but, still hesitant to locate there.

Toilets needed... especially for the giggly girls... Well I sure hope they can move some dirt (or at least cook)!!! :evil6:

Yeah, I don't think giggly girls would go mining, especially with a bunch of scruffy miners. Now I know a couple mountain women that might, though.

yeah, would get back something like that after they approved my poo,noi

That looks like a page from a "Plan of Operations" that the claim owners agreed upon with the depts.

Actually it was the courts decision after they won the case to keep their claim that had been taken by the state for a public park area. I gave up that part of the claim a couple years ago because I never went down to the public area anyway and to lower it to less than 20 acres being that it was 25 to start. But a simple porta-potty keeps everyone happy and I don't have to dump the tanks every week, which is a day lost because of the travel time to a paid dump station. Then some claim owners on the Yuba's have to keep their receipts from a paid dump station to turn into the dfw monthly so porta-potties makes things real easy for them. But I run a clean camp so I don't have any issues with the DFW reps that I deal with and I even put out trash cans for the public down stream. It's all standard procedure for a lot of us.

I'm sure fun will be had Lanny. I'm sitting next to you, not getting the opportunity this time around..maybe next time.

Be safe all. Take much video

Here's page 2 that has the rules. I blotted out the names of the claim owners.

Those aren't the rules or the laws Reed. That's a contract between a claim owner and a federal surface management agency. Nothing to do with DFW. It only applies to the claim the contract is on - not anyone else.

Heavy Pans

p.s. If you don't want the claim owners known you need to remove the doc number from the top. It's public information and easy to look up.
