I don't Know Guns but I Do know I've seen a Gun with a crank like that somewhere.
I googled handgun with crank & easily found a Remington 1858

Which is Probably close it doesn't have the Custom Trigger Guard.
He has allot of Followers. I would think someone is a Gun person and Knows enough, they they can ID it for him.
