Drivers Drop BOMBSHELL on Daytona CHEATING SCANDAL!

Waaa WAAAA WAAAAAAAA :icon_scratch:

When I Used to Go to Races the Whole Thing was about Winning :headbang:
If they Needed to Pit someone or shove them into the guard rails :hello2:
More Power To them !

I Got an Idea For These Wimps, 60MPH Speed Limit, Stay in your Lane .
Have a Cop With a Radar Gun & Fine anyone Getting crossing the Line :icon_scratch:

I hate Nascars wimps !

at least WINSTON CUP had a cool name

Been to one NASCAR race in my life, don't remember the exact year but was probably around 2006. It was amazing how 40+ cars could run all bunched up within inches of each other at 160+ mph when the green flag dropped.

I don't much care for NASCAR any more because of all the rules and politics and so on that in my opinion just ruins everything for the fans who just want to see a bunch of cars race.

I really miss the NASCAR of the late 60s/early 70s when they ran real stock cars

Did you notice how many veteran drivers bailed out when NASCAR jumped into the woke toilet bowl? Myself and many friends quit watching for the same reason.
Never a huge fan but when wilkesboro, rockingham, etc (even hickory a bit further back) started coming off the schedule they lost their soul. Too worried about big money too far from their roots. Used to be a family’s yearly vacation would be a trip to Charlotte (etc). Thurs -Fri qualifying, sat other races, sun big race. You could take a family of 4 for a few hundred bucks and camp on the infield. Same package now is well into the 1000’s. Folks (their old/normal fanbase) can’t afford it.

The ARCA race the day before had cars swimming a lot and half or more of the cars smashed up.
I'm not saying that is my idea of racing.

Years ago ARCA was boring at the track I watched them at.
One wreck maybe but cautious drivers. No I'm not saying they should have been driving any other way.

NASCAR back when meant sawing on the wheel, look out! and being able to wiggle some H.P. enough to let a car with a happy engine stretch it's legs sometimes.

My favorite races to watch live (no offence to the rest) was dirt track.
Passions were as real as the engines being allowed to breath.

Also, in the effort to squeeze out more speed than your competitor, look at all the innovative tweaks that were developed. NASCAR's cookie cutter/you are all winners mindset killed all that.
