These buttons, and relics came from the same site. The Texas Marine Corp button lost its color, and is hard to see the TMC at the bottom of the button. I found it in the book A Search for Texas, 1836 - 1846. All the buttons came from this time period, except for some in the large frame. There's a US button in it that dates back to 1820, and lot of the flat button go to that time. There is a mixture of Old Texas relics, and other relics in the large frame. The pistol is an 1859 sharps. There are some large cents in it with a lot of punch marks. One coin is a 1797 george 111 cartwheel. There is also parts from a mexican rifle, the Brown Bess.
