some wanted more pics so here are some. I forgot to add the depths of the three coins. They were 3 1/2 to 4 inches. So that seems weird that you get a coin 200 years old, that's only 4 inches deep. Yet, you get a coin 10 years old, that is 6 inches deep. Well, anyway, thanks for the feedback and enjoy your holiday.

Very Cool!!! :icon_thumleft:

Gasp! What was I thinking? (slaps forehead) I surely got confused when I made that comment. No more Replying to Posts before I have my coffee. Ha-Ha!
Don, have you ever considered posting photos of your MD coppers collection on Treasure.Net? I know you are the Man when it comes to identifying those early American coins. You must have a pretty powerful collection of those beautiful coins of yesteryear. Thanks again.

Did you clean that coin? bc it looks unreal! and if so how?

That thing is about as good a coin as you will dig. You are truly lucky to have such good soil conditions. I've unearthed a few 100 year old coins in that shape, but to be able to dig a 200 year old coin in that shape would make my year.

Congratulations, very nice coin!

Now that's a sweet one. Congrats on your Drapped...
