The pointed thing looks like a flathead nail and it does look quite old but different then others I have found. It was in the river a few inches deep.

the long lead item is a tire weight to balance out your tires.

My hour and half pre-work hunt yielded me a pile of junk 8 Pulltabs, 3 screwcaps, a nail, 3 dimes, 12 Nickles, 5 Pennies and a 42 Wheatie. Lame in comparison to other hunts, but one of the few hunts I've had in the last two weeks. Just happy to be hunting some. Nice chunk of lead.
