little tougher though - tried doing figure finds for Fla. trip finds
Before I had computer I did not take as many pics of finds - and cant remember exact # of trips
I'm going to say about 20 since like 1997 - skipped some yrs and a few I went more than once
I think I had a trip in early 2000s that I got a bunch of silver and did not take any pics and few
gold returns made when I had no camera and used to not take pics of plan bands all the time or broken rings
- not all detecting on any of my trips (I used to do a lot of fishing)
- if my GF goes - we do other things - most trips I can get up at sunrise
and hunt for 3-4 hrs and let her sleep in and depending on tides I try and get out at sun set too
not a fan of hunting around when peak crowds in the water but some times have to when tides are mid day
I will say about 75% of finds here - 99% water

Over 125 rings = over 100 + of gold, platinum, silver
at least 50 gold rings and over 10 other items of gold
over 30 other jewelry items of silver
not too bad for a visitor - most of my trips are from Sun. to Thurs. (will arrive sun. afternoon and leave thurs. afternoon)

I hate math but what you have added up over the years is impressive to say the least. I may never get to florida to be a visitor but if I do maybe I can rack up some ring scores on the beach.....

wish I was retired - wish I lived lot closer to the ocean
I can only imagine how I would do if I lived in Fla.
Lot of guys do lot better than me - some do a lot worse
I tell most people - you have the right equipment - the time - the talent(experience) and luck and you cant miss
lot of guys here got it all
your missing the last one and at times the first 3 wont matter - though have met guys that just start out and all they had was
luck and they've killed it soooo

I did the math...

You missed 14 gold rings... 21 silver... and 3 platinum...

And I really tried to throw them in front of you.

:P

AARC - If you come up to the Connecticut coast and do that for me, I promise I'll try not to miss them! Up here, I have people only throw pull-tabs, bottle caps and used hypos in front of me... and the occasional 6 ounce lead sinker thrown at me!

Really enjoying the albums, the information, and the inspiration - thanks Casper!
