Had a chance to make a quick visit to a friend's property with an old gold camp on it. As usual found several odd items that boggle my feeble mind. The first item seems to be a nail of some kind, but I have never found a nail shaped as such with a domed top and flat sides. Is this a particular kind of nail? The second item is shaped like a figure eight and made of iron. It was found near a site that had an 1880s bottle opener in it and probably had a affluent house some time ago. The third items I suspect might be more modern than an 1850s - 1880s gold camp. It is layered with some sort of heavy duty fabric and alternating with layers of some sort of metal. The openings on each end are similar in size and seemed to have had rods going through them. As always, I am very grateful for anyone that can help me identify these treasures. Thanks.

Last item looks like a LINK to a large belt drive
Almost like a bike chain configuration
Just my opinion
