More Fun for the "Whatzit" Gang
Been cleaning a bunch of my smaller finds from last Sunday - all these items come from an area where there was a town back in the early to mid 1800s. The first pic is just for size reference - the 2nd and 3rd are of an item that Joe dug. I would think it was a part of a belt or pack of some sort - that is leather sandwiched between the rivets. In the third pic, you can just make out a definite mark of some kind (possibly a makers/manufacturers mark?). The 5th photo is obviously the base of a shotgun shell. My question is any idea of the age on this? I've never heard of this "brand" before.
I'll be posting two more items to possibly be identified. I didn't feel like writing a novel and using a whole post/page for all the items. Any help with these would be gratefully appreciated... 8)
