Well I debated whether or not even posting this but, here goes. Last Friday I scored 3 rolls of solid '64 as noted in a previous post. The teller at the time said another teller had more rolls but he wouldn't be in til Monday. I'm think'in okay not a problem I'll come back. Well today I stop in and the teller gets in his vault and pulls out 5, 10, 15...at this point I'm thinking how many more and probably someones dumps. Well as he had all 37 rolls lined up across counter he proceeds to tell me they are all 1945 and older. I thought I had heard him wrong at first, but as he piles them in a box for me I see the Eagle landing on the end of one roll. I get out to the car and sure enough all Walkers...740 friggin Walkers. At first glance it looks like they are all 1940-45. My kids and I will sort through them tonight. I had 2 boxes to pick up at another bank, but since I had taken $370 out of circulation I didn't have the cash on hand! I'm still debating the picture thing, but I guess it really doesn't matter. Probably post some later.
Update: We went through and all but 3 were 1940-47 with the other 3 being 1937. Also, I ended up with 743!...3 extras. About a roll full has extreme rainbow toning.
Update 2: Went back to the bank today and quizzed the tellers. They said one man cashed in all $400 worth last Thursday. Those were the only coins he cashed in. Was hoping for other denominations.
