I have found about a dozen of those naval uniform buttons like yours. I was told they were War of 1812.
Do you have any idea what they are worth?

if you have found a dozen of these one piece navy buttons, you are really onto a great site.. Thats only the 2nd one ive found in a year and all the guys i know around here have 2 or 3 in the several years theyve been hunting here.. Yes they are war of 1812 and are in the neighborhood of $100

Looks good, too bad the cw bullet is a drop. I love finding them smashed you never know if they killed someone.
 

Yes it was a great site that produced around 150 buttons 40 coins and 12 of those 1812 buttons some still have excellent gilt on them. The site is now a housing development. It was soybean field whenI " found it"

im in SE virginia.. Too bad about your site, but i assume its (was) near the coast
