Short hunt today in SE VA

Early 1700's cut 2 reale pistareen & 1859 IH

yeah, man! your silver count this year is sweet. great cut piece, and love that older button as well. is that war of 1812-era? :headbang:

yep, it's about that era.. I wrecked it though, stuck it in some lemon juice cuz i saw a little gilt left ::)

never fail to amaze us ,lately !!! :o C button ,1812 button , silver bit, etc. Starting off June ,the way U ended May ..Smokin' :bom:
 

WTG :thumbsup: No wonder I'm not finding anything. You're finding it all. I've been on a dry spell the past little while. I did get a 1943 Merc dime and a 1944 P nickle last week.

They come and go yank, I'm sure you've seen em over the years.. Josh was on a pretty rough streak and broke it a couple days ago with a gorgeous Virginia Staff Button (yes Josh, post that thing :headbang: )

Civil war era or before , Button. Used as dual purpose . Usually dug .Worth 3-5 bucks .. nothing about C-4 mark
