Went to a spot everyone knows about and hits regularly. Only keeper of the day was this monster shoe buckle. Super deep and I thought coin the whole time. Was very pleased to see this shoe buckle come out. Well I think it's a shoe buckle it's just so big. If anyone knows what it is or if they were used for other purposes let me know otherwise I'm thinking iv found old club foots buckle. Put one of my other shoe buckles next to it for size reference. Thanks

Awesome and nice shape. Belt buckle, or some time of strap buckle perhaps?

That's a big ones. Belonged to Bigfoot!

Probably British Military. Those were heavy duty like yours. I know some had a very similar design, but I don't have any references. Anyway, great find!!

That is a monster! Great condition too. Somehow it survived wiith all the parts and the original curvature. Nice find!

Very nice find! Complete too. Very well done sir.

Very nice. Bet that was loud.

Insanely huge shoe buckle! How many inches long is it? They made them up to 4 inches, but that one might even be bigger than that. Somebody wanted to be noticed back then, I guess!

Hi; Nice find; I don't believe it is a shoe buckle but rather a knee or belt buckle. There is no way that would have fit on a shoe. Remember that anything made back then was made for Utilitarian purposes; not for frivolity. They would never waste good metal or efforts to make a shoe buckle that big ok. Good Luck. PEACE:RONB

It's a shoe buckle and a big monster. I love it. I have 2 that are pretty massive. One is gorgeous. Congrats on a great find

You got me to bust em out and check to see how big and small mine are. This could make a great thread. Biggest and smallest shoe buckles. Really tough to find the monsters complete. I'd love to add that to my collection. Great one
