Hello Bigfoot, I see some initials on it. Have you tried to locate the guy that lost it??????? HA, HA,HA That is a JOKE. I was thinking about all the posters that thought Yellowbelly should look for the owner of the Rolex he found. LOL
If I locate something underground with my detector IT IS MINE. Sorry for whoever lost it but that is life. Finding a wallet above ground with a name and address is a totally different story. I have returned the only two of those I've found and I refused a reward on both.
Wait 'til Gold goes up some more and cash it in for money, money, money.

I got a big silver one a couple of weeks ago (58+ grams) was thinking at the time wished it was gold, but not complaining, and was very happy with it.

Didn't read all the replies, so I apologize if this has been answered, is the clasp broke or working ?

no problem rick...the clasp is intact and still connected.there are watch type hinges at both sides of plate.its one of those that failed,the hinge pin is gone.
 

Definitely a killer find. That will buy a lot of coonskin caps.

cf...ya I dont normally post finds but this one was differant.I suppose I will post more finds in future,this has been fun !!

why I dug the signal...I always dig every gold range signal when I'm hunting a high percentage jewelry site.I have found that anywhere city folks play in the snow up here is a high percentage site.was a scratchy 54 on atp.I dig all sigs above43 in these sites.

Can you find a makers mark or tell how old this is. The previous owner sure had some brass. Very nice find!
