monolux microscope....

anyone know about what year or value of this microscope?

I did not mean to post this as a poll...i am new to this and meant to just post it...so this is not a poll i would really like to know about this piece my brother and i found it out behind an old farmhouse...if someone could tell me how to post this the right way i would appreciate it...all the instruments are stamped Japan....and microscope is stamped monolux 75X,150X,300X,500X, NO T6, 2689N........i am assuming these are serial numbers maybe product codes..????? know what x's are the strength but the other any suggestions?

Hi there,jaquelineur! Wow,you are pretty! ::) Shucks,I'm too old for you :-[and thousands of miles away.And my picture makes me look kinda goofy too.Oh,well... Anyway my folks got me one of those microscope sets for Christmas in about 1963.Now that was a great gift!Educational and fun!I looked at everything,leaves,bugs,pond water,and coins too, probably.My microscope might have been just like that one you have there.Mine is long gone now as I have 3 brothers who helped to use it to bits.Try it out.It's a fun thing.And welcome to this great forum!
 

having flash backs lol. I can remember when i had mine. would run around the house trying to find the one person that wasn't scared to prick their finger so we could see the blood cells. After awhile no one wanted to do it any more lol wonder why. Welcome to the forms and HH

Thanks for the welcome and for the input...sounds like it would be alot of fun...at least it sounds like u had a blast with it... ;D around what year was it u had one?

Thanks so much for the compliment and the info...and another thing...i have a VERY strong belief in the old saying "Age is just a number"...this is SO very true ;)
