I went out today to the town of Leadville Colorado. It’s a beautiful place. Sure is fun to swing, this popped out so I thought I would share. I wonder if it is from a toy or a keychain? I think the letters are F V A. Maybe it is the fire chiefs initials:) Let me know if you have any information on this, thanks and happy hunting!!! 2E9E35D1-EC95-4A55-AFA8-0E7A1025DCDE.jpegBA36233C-6F72-445F-8E42-3C8407A3B24C.jpegD5D74FE3-35E1-4F0E-A62C-2DF84E9CCAE8.jpeg

Pretty neat find.

Here's another offered on eBay for $150 which has a hole in the same position to which a miniature lantern was attached, although it can't be said for certain that the two parts are completely contemporary with one another:

The seller's notes say "Based upon our research, we believe these were possibly charms or fobs meant to adorn a man’s pocket watch, keys, vest, or chatelaine, but we are not certain." Approximately 2 3/8 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide, and 7/8 of an inch tall.
