I got permission to hunt a new spot. I found the usual clad and trash. 1 quarter and 15 memorials. I did find something unexpected though.

It's a 1991. I dropped it on my desk and it doesn't make the same "ping" as a silver quarter. That was the extent of my tests. Very scientific don't you think?

I found a 68' Panamanian that has the definite silver "ping".Balboa coin.....Same situation....Extensive reasearch .....Congrat's and HH!!

It was just sitting in the grass waiting for me. I saw it from a distance and thought it was a bottle cap.
