I am fairly new at this and haven't kept any written notes but it is time to start. I'll update what I have done up to this point by memory and keep an accurate count going forward.
Cents: 3 boxes, 5K from bank machine, and 40-50 crw. Found a couple dozen wheats. I picked up my first dump yesterday. 12 rolls not a single copper.
Nickels: 4 boxes, 1 skunk. About 10 cwr. I found 5 war nicks and a buffalo with no date.
Dimes: $100 bwr and $30 cwr, skunked.
Quarters: $0
Halves: About $180 cwr, found 1 40%

I'll have my first box of halves at the end of the week. $1000 worth is what this bank considers "a box".
I am going to check a few banks on the way home to see if i can pick up some coins for the weekend.

Picked up $1 cents, $14 nickels, $30 dimes, and $200 quarters in cwr yesterday. It was a bust. The nickels gave up 5 coins pre60. No silver and no hole fillers. Pulled a little copper from the pennies. I do have new Roosevelt and Washington folders to fill so that will keep me busy until the next dump and pick up.

3 boxes, $5,000 from a coin counter, and 40-50 CWRs gave you only about 24 wheats?

I thought my area was bad.

10 wheats from the coin machine bag (5000 cents, not $5000). Maybe 5 per box and a few more here and there so 30-35 wheats could be more accurate. Still not spectacular.

If the bank thinks $1000 in halves is a box, don't be disappointed if they end up getting a box of golden dollar coins. I've seen it happen many times on here.

I was about to say, $5K in cents and you only pulled like 25 wheats I would've given up after a couple of hundred. That's not too bad for a $50 bag. I've hunted them several times and my numbers ranged from about 10 - 2,800 in keepers.

I was going to a few banks today looking for cwr (picked up$84.50 in halves) when my pickup bank called and said they had my order of halves ($1000 minimum order, 2 boxes). I grabbed them and went back to the shop. Couldn't wait until i got home so I rim checked them at work. I found 1 '68 and 5 NIFC. I will give them a closer look tonight. Was my first search so glad it wasn't a total skunk. There was nothing in the cwr.

Made the rounds and picked up some cwr. $130 in halves yielded one '68D. $20 in quarters nothing. I'll check the dimes and a lone cent roll at home.

CR Rolls when they pay they pay ! Say a prayer for the small collector who either passed on or got robbed... Nice haul !

Picked up 2 boxes of nickels yesterday. The yield from box #1 was 26 pre60 coins, all Jeffersons. Two of the coins were silver (both '45 S) and a 1939 philly was a hole filler. Also upgraded a few.
Box #2 to come...

Nickel box #2: 26 pre60 coins including a '42P war nickel and a '38S (both hole fillers). Also FINALLY found a 2009D!

nice finds. i have yet to find a war nickel, i'm hoping soon! i'm starting some books over thanksgiving too.

Searched cwr this weekend. $168 nickels. Found 45 pre 60 coins. Of note was one 45S war nickel and two buffs, a no-date and a 1937. $60 in dimes and no silver, couple of hole fillers. $5 in cents and nothing special. Pulled out some copper and a half dozen 2009's.
I have a bank that will get me a box of nickels weekly and I placed another two box order of halves from another bank. I think they will be OK with me ordering more. Between that and cwr should be just about right.

Time for an update. I searched some cwr earlier in the week. $20 in cents gave up two wheats. There was no silver in $60 of dimes but i did find a 2008P that I needed for the folder. $36 in nickels gave me 5 pre-60 coins. The most interesting find was a 1889 liberty head. It is so worn that when i first saw it I thought some jack wagon put a slug in the roll but a closer inspection revealed it's true nature.
I picked up 2 boxes of nickels yesterday and finished the first one this morning. There were 26 pre-60 coins including a 1936D buffalo that i found in the second roll I opened however this box didn't contain any war nickels. I also kept two 2009D's. I am still chasing a 2009P.

Nickel box 2 is done. 24 pre-60's. Of note a 1935 buffalo and a 1943S. Also found a 1995S, my first proof nickel.

Searched a box of cents this week. Thought it would be a stellar box when I saw three wheat enders but turned out to be average with 11 wheats. The oldest was 1940. I did find a 1982P zinc small date that I needed for the folder.
