All Treasure Hunting
I found an old mining camp out in the dez on Saturday while dirt biking and went back yesterday with my detector. As usual for these places, the nails, cans, and other trash makes for a very tough hunt. Surprisingly, I only pulled one coin. I'm sure there's more there and will definitely be going back.

The usual buttons and clothing hardware. The melted piece in the top center was a token, but I can't read much of the writing.

The one and only coin:

Plenty of old cartridges including; a couple of unfired 12ga headstamps, .45-70, .38-55, .44 W.C.F., .38 W.C.F., .45 Colt and .32 W.C.F.
The shield piece is some kind of white metal that didn't hold up well. It says Totem Pole at the top and Seattle Washington at the bottom. In the center are some letters that are hard to make out, maybe "KYPE". I was unable to find anything out about it.

Next are some iron things including; a rose head spike(?), a 1909 railroad tie nail, the tiniest railroad spike I've ever found, and some other random hardware.
IMG_8432.JPG

The usual utensils, lantern parts, harmonica reed plate, rivets, buckle and most of an obsidian point.

This is a strange piece. It's made of lead.

And last, but not least, I saw this Streamlight hanging from a bush where somebody had stopped along the road to relieve themselves. Goes for $32 on Amazon, and as you can see it works!

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!
