Modern Button help Please

I found this button last week and I know it is a modern one but I was hoping some one here might be able to give me a little more info on it. It is brass and has no backmark.

Underwear button

I think it is too thick and heavy to be an underwear button. I am leaning towards a ladies coat button from the 50s-60s. But, thanks for the reply.
