I got this in my pocket change from a convenience store a while back. Close up view of it shows that there just is a missing number. It doesn't look to be like it was grinded off or tampered with. Just curious if this happens from time to time and if it would be worth anything more than a quarter?

Grease strike or the digit on the Die was filled with other debris! The coin based on the Obverse is in nice condition even though it is circulated, has some spotting and unknown toning on it. If the Reverse is as nice, then the coin could have some extra value due to the error. Check "Sold" Auctions on eBay for sales of Quarters with similar errors to get an idea as to what it might be valued at.

An ancient Washington quarter from the year 199 is surely worth a fortune! Cool find!
