Back to my latest permission today, this acre homesite has hundred of targets still waiting for me. The front yard was my focus today, first target was a 1899-S Barber dime!:headbang:
Also banged out a 1946 Washington, 1937 Buffalo, a few wheats, and a mangled silver bracelet.

Alas, these were not the best finds of the day....

Last week I found a handful of lumber tokens, but today I hit the jackpot!
These were previously never documented online, but now, aside from my 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents in merchandise examples.... I now have two monster $1.00 tokens! They are in really great shape too.
Baron Collier Lumber and Ties.

Finally, my favorite find I didn't realize what it was, passed it off as another 50 example, but it's got a hole in it...dog tag?.... No, Look!

1932 Fort Myers Golf Club tag of some sort....I wonder what this was... locker tag? Key chain fob? It's got a number in the middle, but unreadable. My permission is adjacent to the golf course, I'll inquire if there are any ol timers around who might remember these...

Thanks for looking!:hello:

Hello BWD. Too right...silver coins, tokens, and jewelry ...three of my favorite things to dig up. Going back on tomorrow? I would. Good Luck. C9

Nice finds. I'm still trying to break into the 1800s for US coins.

I hit it again for a few hours this morning....
Another Merc, Rosie, 9 wheats, and another .50 caliber bullett....
No pics, you'll have to believe me.

Nice silvers

sweet, love tokens, so many different kinds for so many different reasons.

Excellent digs BWD. Congrats on the sweet silvers, and the tokens are a cool find. Nice to see they are in pretty good shape too.

Nice finds Dave. Hang in there. I know a 1700's coin is just around the corner for you.

Great finds! It is always exciting to see just what is going to come up out of the ground next!

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

I do not know how I missed this! Great hunt, Dave!

Don't feel bad...

I miss the 1700's club by roughly 300 years ... every time I detect. :P
