Lets see………where do I begin? I guess I will just get to the point. All this stuff has been sitting on my desk in the Office for quite some time now. ;D I thought today would be a good day as any to post the stuff I found over the last 4 months or so. I have been out Detecting here and there…….. but like I mentioned in the Belt plat post, I have been very busy working and taking care of some other issues. Just about all these items have been dug in old areas (farm land or wooded). Old Foundations, or maybe some old orchard. But they all have one thing in common……….Their Relics. No matter their age, shape, form or purpose they were all lost for reasons will never know.
Let’s start with what we have here. …………This sterling silver spoon (with the name Jamie) on it, and the 1903 Barber Dime was found in my yard. This is the first time I used the Explorer 2 around my house since I got it a few years ago.

This flask was found a couple of months ago down in Allegany County, actually most of this stuff has been found in parts of that area.

The plate full of goodies :) was again found on different days both down in the southern tier and in an area in Orchard Park where they were doing some construction.
The clay pipe stems, pottery and nice gold gilt button were all found there at the site

The Badge reads Friendship Auxiliary (local Fire department) how old? No idea…But Jeff liked it, was found not far from his area.

These finds were found last week down south with Tim and the gang, this old cellar hole about a quarter mile back in the woods gave us few nice finds, including these 9 one piece flat Buttons. One is a flower type the others are from different Button makers. Also the little pewter cap was a nice find. It reads “hazards powder” have to look that one up…

The rest of the stuff consists of pieces of copper; misc coins (Indians, a cut bank of Upper Canada Token, mercury Dimes, wheat’s, some memorials and commons from the park around the corner. Bullets and shells, copper gears, pocket knifes, handles, buckles in all sizes, a nice pewter button, square nails, harmonica reeds, bells, rivets and a mess of other stuff.

I almost forgot this piece....it was found on top of a hill with a couple of other Relics but the grass was kinda high and we had limited areas to detect, but this Sword holder was down around 8 inches. But is surely an area that will be detected next spring after the winter thaw.

So for now......... hope you like the pile of stuff. Now I can finally clean and put this stuff away!!! Take care and Good luck Digging………..

Nice collection...a mini museum on your desk! If you are ever interested in selling the FD badge let me know...

I recognized that Canadian token right away when I saw it in your picture. Very cool. Other items are great too. I love finding silver spoons. It's been awhile since I found one....

Finds do tend to pile up when you get "post lazy". ;D :D
