I'm hoping for the book first. With all of the adventures of Don Jose, we would likely need 5 or 6 movies to even start to do it justice. But it should be a great series!

I'm thinking the guy from Clash of the Titans (Sam Worthington I think?) for when DJ was young and then Harrison Ford for when he's older. Whoever it is, they've gotta be tall, strapping guys with brains and guts.
