2001P,2002-2007P&D are all NIFR's (not issued for circulation). The same goes for 1987 P&D. Their are some 1976S halves that are 40% silver but not all of them. Check the edges. The 1974D has a listed error, a doubled die obverse where the "rus" in trust is doubled. Other than that their are silver halves that were issued in proof sets from 1992 on up to the present, they aren't hard to spot.

There's a misnomer about the 2001-P. There were over 21m minted. Not a keeper. IMHO

The "P's" were not released to public except through sales directly from the mint - from their website "...never before released 2001-dated (P) Kennedy half dollars". They are not a keeper, especially when you can buy a bag of 200 coins (100 each mint) for $130.95 here.

I think that it comes out 65 cents per BU coin right from the mint.

Thank you all. Do all 1974D halves, all have the double error? I have a few, but can't see the error.

No, not all have the error.
Only a few and usually not more than a few thousand.

Here is another that will spark an interest.
It is a 1964 D and is listed as FS-013.5 In the Cherry Picker.

On Half dollars. I am starting keep all 1982 thru 1983 au/bu half dollars. Reason you can sell an roll of them 59 to 99 bucks for 10 bucks face on ebay on super clean 1982 or 1983 all mints. Coin shops sell those bu rolls for 99 to 199 bucks per roll on those.

Those 82 or 83 rolls of Halfs are worth more money than 2002 thru 2007 rolls or 65 thru 70 junk silver rolls big time. My last 10 boxes I searched I got skunked big time onley pulling 22 silver coins. I will make up for it from pulling about 80 bucks worth 82 thru 83 coins from boxes. So after I sell my 82 and 83 clad rolls for 500 to 800 dollars I will be happy no problem since I find no silver after going thru 10 boxs. My 1982 and 1983 coins will make it worth while after I sell on ebay.

The reason why all 1982 or 1983 bu rolls sell for so much money. Those years they did make make mint sets and collectors want bu coins in there books. Those private mint or souverior sets cost maybe 80 to 150 for year set.

On ebay I seen an roll of 82 or 83 2 dollar roll nickels sell for over 250 once. Its not just Halfs its dimes. Quarters also. If I you was you I would start saving all bu 1982 or 1983 coins you can find when going thru bank boxs since no mint sets were made that year.
