I like the horse.

It looks like a grade school art project. My brother made a camel that looks very similar in 4th grade.

Maybe from train set.

Sort of reminds me of "Pokey", from the "Gumby and Pokey" cartoons.

I don't know why, but I'm thinking it was made around the 1930s for some reason.

I made similar ones back in the 60's.
Used those little coping saws, a wood rasp, sandpaper and a bunch of elbow grease.
It was part of a set for a covered wagon set.
If I remember right there were fore horses total.
