Some hang from key chains, but I don't see a loop for that. The loop would have been on the butt of the handle.

I remember collecting replica pistols and rifles when I was a young one. Some were cap guns and some were just scale models. I wish I still had them but, as with most of my stuff, when I went into the Navy in 1969 my brothers figured I would get killed in Nam so they "inherited" all my cool stuff! Do a search for miniature toy pistols and you will see many that are very similar to yours.

I was just getting ready to ask if it looked like it had any moving parts at one time. Then I saw the post above.:laughing7:

I had little cap guns at one time that were old(how old? Don't know ? I was a kid and everything was old:laughing7: ). Not sure if that is what you have or not. That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the pic.

They were minature models. I had a Colt SAA/45 and a 1860 Colt Army. Hammers went back, cylinders came out and little plastic bullets were removable. Cock them, pull the trigger guard and the hammer dropped like it was firing. Late 1950's. Led to my addiction later to own the real things...

I found this one a couple of months ago. I was told that it was a Cracker Jack prize. I think that DCMatt is correct.

Yes, I think DCMatt is spot on. The gun in his picture is identical! Thank you so much for the info! All cracker jacks gives you now is a stupid cheap paper puzzle or tattoo LOL

I found a Swiss Mini Gun some years ago in Italy. I thought it was just some toy as well, but I cleaned it up and saw that all the parts moved on it. My guess is that it had not been lost for too long because there was not too much to do to it. About a year later I saw some evidence from a case where a person had one on them when they where arrested. Right away I contacted Swiss Mini Gun and sent them pictures and asked if it was one of theirs. They said it was one they made, gave me a list of gunsmiths who would take a look at it and sent me a price list for ammo.
