Anyone know what type of rock or mineral this is? Thanks for any help!

Looks like blue chalcedony to me, a quartz mineral.

Thanks for your response. I got a few answers on Instagram. People said either calcite, fluorite, or quartz. I’m very new to all of this. At first I thought maybe fluorite. I tried a few hardness tests (first time). It was able to scratch my nail, a penny, a butter knife and a glass bottle (with effort). I figure that gives it a hardness around 6.5-7?

Also, it was found on the shore of Lake Okanagan in B.C.
