Hello, I wanted to get an overall idea how users feel about this machine being 2 years old or so. Any regrets or are you comfortable with it, and what updates would you like to see, thankyou your input is very helpful to all of us users.

I've had mine since October/November 2023, I guess. I'm very happy with the machine as is. I haven't even really made changes from the factory setup. IMHO, the machine was kick-a$$ out of the box. I don't think it needs any updates, and I have no regrets about buying the Manticore.

I have the M11, M9, and M8 coils. I find myself using the M9 more often than not. The M9 just works.

I dumped the update very quickly.

How’s the iron seperation, stable machine, aluminum will fool any machine, what’s the battery life, a full day 6 hours at least, thanks

Hello sir, wanted to say hello to a fellow Pennsylvanian, I’m far western. Not detecting much obviously the dam weather, how’s your detecting going, thanks.

IMHO, separation is awesome. I've been working an 1850's school yard loaded with iron and I've been moving low and slow and pulling coins out of the iron. Yes, aluminum does look like a good target on the 2d screen. Battery life is good. I usually go out for 4 to 6 hours at a time and only charge the machine every other time. I'd say you could get an 8-hour day from the machine and headphones.

The weather has sucked! Either too cold, too frozen, or just snow covered. Another round of snow sleet and rain today. I'm really itchin to get out and find some goodies!

I forgot to mention stability. The Manticore is the most stable machine I have. My neighbors on both sides have underground dog fences that wreak havoc of most machines using multi-frequency. The Manticore is usually good to go, just turn down the sensitivity and go. I've also noticed turning down the sensitivity doesn't hurt depth that much either.
